Founded in Cape Town in 2009, ThinkLab is a premium architectural visualisation studio. We produce cinematic CGI stills, film, real-time VR, and immersive digital experiences for developers, architects, and hospitality brands - locally and across four continents.
Built in Cape Town. Working globally.
Craft since 2009
ThinkLab was founded in 2009 by Corné von Bratt, an architect who saw the gap between what buildings could look like and how they were being presented. In the years since, we've delivered work for clients across the UAE, UK, Australia, and South Africa.
South Africa's premium studio
We are the architectural visualisation studio of choice for South Africa's leading developers and architects when the project demands world-class output - not good-enough local work. Our standard is set by the international market.

Working with ThinkLab from Cape Town
Is ThinkLab based in Cape Town?
Yes. ThinkLab was founded in Cape Town in 2009 and our creative leadership is based here. We operate as a global studio, which means our team works across time zones - but Cape Town is our home.
What types of South African projects do you work on?
We work across the full spectrum of South African development - luxury residential in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and the Winelands; commercial and mixed-use in major centres; safari and boutique lodge hospitality; and high-end residential estates. If the project demands imagery that matches its ambition, we're a fit.
Do you work with South African developers and architects?
Yes - South Africa is one of our core markets and we have long-standing relationships with local developers, architects, and marketing agencies.
Can you work on global projects from Cape Town?
Absolutely. Cape Town is where our leadership and much of our creative team is based, but we deliver projects across the UAE, UK, Europe, Australia, and beyond.
