When you send an enquiry

The contact form asks for your name, email address and message, and, if you choose to give them, your company and the services you are interested in. If you arrive from a button on the Ecosystem page, the package you chose or your demo request is added to those services. The form sends all of this to our team by email; it is not saved in a database on the way.

When you visit

Delivering the site means our hosting and cloud providers receive technical information such as your IP address, your browser and the pages you request, which they record in their standard server logs. The contact form also uses your IP address to limit repeated submissions, as protection against spam.

Only with your consent: cookies and similar technologies

Nothing in the table below loads until you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If you choose Decline, none of it loads. Either way, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage (as cookie-consent) so we do not ask on every page.

Lifetimes are as set by each provider when this page was written; providers can change them.

The Meta Pixel is told about page views, a visit to the Ecosystem page, and a sent enquiry together with the services you ticked. We do not send it your name, email address or message, and Meta's automatic advanced matching is switched off. Microsoft Clarity's masking is switched on, so what you type into the site is hidden from its recordings.

• To understand how the site is used, and to measure and target our advertising, only with your consent.

We do not sell personal information.

• Google: hosts the website (Firebase Hosting), runs the contact form (Google Cloud), delivers enquiries to our inboxes (Gmail), serves Journal images (Google Cloud Storage) and provides Google Analytics.
• Microsoft: provides Microsoft Clarity.
• Meta Platforms: provides the Meta Pixel.
• LinkedIn: provides the LinkedIn Insight Tag.

Each processes the information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Some of this information is processed outside South Africa. The contact form runs in Google Cloud's us-central1 region in the United States. Google may process Google Analytics data in any country where it or its subprocessors have facilities. Microsoft stores Clarity data in its Azure cloud, in the United States by default. Meta stores and processes information across borders, including in the United States. LinkedIn stores Insight Tag data on its servers in the United States.

We send your enquiry abroad only to answer it, which is what you asked us to do. Analytics and advertising information goes abroad only with your consent, which you give by choosing Accept and can withdraw at any time.

• Enquiries: two weeks. If your enquiry leads to a conversation about a project, we keep that correspondence for as long as we are working together.
• Google Analytics: up to 14 months.
• Microsoft Clarity: session recordings for 30 days, and click and heatmap data for 9 months.
• Meta Pixel: Meta keeps this information under its own privacy policy.
• LinkedIn Insight Tag: LinkedIn removes details that directly identify you within seven days and deletes the rest within 180 days.
• Cookies: as listed in the table above. LinkedIn lists its own in its cookie table.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. You can object to our processing it, and you can withdraw your consent to cookies at any time (see below). Email hello@thinklabgroup.com and we will reply within 24 hours.

Choose again at any time: the cookie banner will return. Cookies the tools have already set stay in your browser until they expire or you delete them in your browser settings.

This site links to Instagram, LinkedIn, Behance and to press articles. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

This website is for property developers, architects and other businesses. It is not directed at children.
