Corné von Bratt
Founder and CEO

Corné grew up on the Garden Route, moving to Cape Town in 1998 to study architecture where he went on to win 2 national design awards. With a multitude of architectural experience already behind him within practices in Cape Town and gaining project management skills through leading projects in Namibia, Corné founded Think3D, now ThinkLab Group,  in 2009.

Having forged his niche within the field of 3D visualisation,  Corné successfully combined his innate understanding of architectural design, photography and innovative technologies.  The vision was simple: to create a vibrant, energetic architectural marketing studio, focusing on a very personal collaborative relationship with all clients, whilst striving for the highest quality product.

Not shy of taking a risk, Corné excels as a leader, with a reputation that is held in high regard in the architectural and real estate industries through his personable nature and “Can do” attitude.  Always willing to go the extra mile, ThinkLab has gone from strength to strength with Corné at the helm.

Marius De Jager
Creative Director

Marius began his advertising career in the early 90’s in South Africa before relocating to the Middle East in ’99 to work on brands like Coca-Cola and British Airways World Cargo. During the real estate boom of the mid 00’s, Marius joined Gulf Finance House Islamic Investment Bank, as Creative Director, developing marketing solutions for infrastructure development projects across North Africa, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. He ran his own Bahrain based branding agency with clients from Singapore to Dubai to New York before returning to Cape Town in 2014 where he joined PAM GOLDING PROPERTIES’ in-house marketing division 70SIX, as Creative Director. Their first ever TV campaign, “I AM PAM”, won BEST INTERNATIONAL REAL ESTATE AGENCY MARKETING at the 2016 International Property Awards.

Marius is an accomplished creative professional with a proven track record in all aspects of the end-to-end creative process ranging from concept through execution. A forward thinker who brings a broad international perspective to brand development, Marius is highly skilled in building global client relationships and developing design solutions that bring their vision to life in a fresh, aligned and compelling way.

Johann Jordaan
Operations Director

After completing a B.Tech: Architectural Technology (Applied Design) degree in 1997, Johann went on to apply himself in the mainstream Architectural field.  With a love for art and technology and a natural inclination towards creative visuals, he proceeded to specialize in the art of architectural visualization.

After joining dhk architects in 2007 he went on to become lead CGI artist and Associate: tasked with leading a production team on complex and large-scale architectural projects at commercial, retail and residential scale, while ensuring delivery of the project on time.

Johann brings this experience to lead the studio at Thinklab Group with a keen ability to evolve and complete 3D design projects, combined with a steadfast commitment to top-notch architectural design visualization, quality and on-time delivery.

  • 1-5 years’ professional experience in a 3D architectural studio environment or architect practice
  • and aspirations to more than just a job,

More specifically your application will benefit from:

  • An education in architectural design and/or animation
  • An in-depth understanding of colour and composition
  • The ability not only to use to Autodesk 3D Studio Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, and After Effects/Premier but also to interpret architectural drawings and concepts
  • A track record of co-ordinating client projects from conception to completion using good, clear communication skills, practised problem-solving and initiative
  • Understanding the importance of branding in CGI Imagery
