MOCAA Cape Town

The Thomas Heatherwick-designed Zeitz gallery is on course to become Cape Town’s preeminent cultural landmark.

The 2014 World Design Capital, Cape Town has undergone plenty of cosmetic changes of late and it would seem there are more to come.

Having received the brief in November 2013, British designer Thomas Heatherwick has now released plans for the development of Zeitz MOCAA at the city’s V&A Waterfront. This museum of contemporary African art is to be the most significant type of its kind in the continent and will be located in Cape Town’s historic Grain Silo….  Read more here
